A STRUCTURED APPROACH TO SPELLING
Guaranteed transfer of spelling knowledge into long term memory
Are your students unable to transfer spelling knowledge to everyday writing? This workshop shows teachers how to plan a spelling program that caters for all students. Teachers will learn how to implement spelling at an individual level to ensure success for all in spelling and to ensure students move beyond getting the words right on Friday and forget them on Monday.

The course also includes teaching word study/phonics in an embedded and meaningful manner so that spelling rules and knowledge are transferred to everyday writing. The program offers teachers methods for explicitly teaching spelling strategies. Schools can use this spelling workshop to develop a whole school spelling program.

In this workshop teachers will learn how to develop a whole spelling program in which all children have fun and achieve success.
